Romeo and Juliet 

The scene begins with an emotional heart touching dialogue from the protagonist , the hero ( Propp) the main character Romeo speaking about himself before he puts the drug on the tip of his finger and swallows it while Mercutio his best friend wearing a costume and an outfit that subverts masculine dominant men stereotypes, with props and a white wig and make up (costume mise-en-scene) with a shiny dress. As we also see the cutting on action clip as when the camera switched on a close up to  Romeo's face as he spoke his dialogue ( diegetic sound). As we hear the non-diegetic background sound of music and instruments that begins to dissolve within the scene as ell.  as it cross cuts between locations of Romeo now in a church-like location walking down the aisle alone while his words and dialogue are still in the background as the clip goes back and forth (montage cross cuts)to when he is speaking and as if it is a flashback of him in the church. Suddenly he puts in the pill in his mouth and in the church location he stops moving and a sudden quick extreme close up to his eye widening and the pace quickens and it is sudden so smash cut that surprises the audience as the scene suddenly went from quiet and peaceful lonely to loud celebrations crowded, partying  and music. This juxtaposes as the pace suddenly quickens but also goes from church scene to sinful actions and partying which are completely opposite things as if Romeo was an angel that turned into a place with demons. Then the clip dissolves through another clip from Romeo's shocked eye to an exploding firework then the scenes kept dissolving within each other  to different locations and then the pace changed to slow motion again which is another smash cut as it goes from quick to slow and focuses on Romeo's character which is also juxtaposed as he is in a car with men acting dominant and masculine holding their guns up while he is dressed as female with a bright red lipstick dancing and mimicking being a female and acting feminine as he is wearing a bright white shimmery cropped shirt was a skirt and high heels. 

Then “The party begins” we get a sequence of slow paces and fast paces cuts from different perspective first they show us people dancing in the party but when it cuts away to Romeo it is slow paced and in slow motion as the camera is moving around with him showing us that he  dizzy and is not able to stand fully , then we get cuts through different characters introducing them to the audience as it cuts to a close up to Romeo's eyes again with a smash cut and a crossing cut with a match on action shot of Mercutio's face and Tybalt screaming and it goes back and forth cutting away from Mercutio's character to Romeos. Moreover the music also transitions and kind of dissolves from the scream into the song of the next clip which is the performance. Mercutio has a match on action shots as it films a close up of his singing then again to his dancing. 

Romeo is then introduced to Lord Capulet and it jumps cuts his scene and if he is ignoring him as it cuts to the singing and pace keeps switching from slow when on Romeo and fast when on the singing as Romeo begins to blank out as there is an effect as the background and things around him spin as they quickens including the background music and the diegetic sound as the dancing of people around him all quickens and speeds up. Later on it cuts on action but also cross cuts to Romeo's face under the water. Suddenly he feels like he is drowning as he opens his eyes in shock under the water as if we are in the water watching his face from under the water.
